Going Way Way Back
As a child, Amie got a calligraphy set for Christmas. Some artists are painters, others are sculptors or musicians or architects. Amie spent her artistic youth building her talent in calligraphy.

In Recent Years
On into her adult years, she looked for a way to share this talent with others. One day while shopping at a big box store, she found a wooden frame with a slot on top. The frame was packaged with a few artistic images -- all the same size, which could fit smoothly into the frame. Amie made the connection that this was her avenue for sharing her artwork. She got her husband to make some frames and she set to work designing some art pieces with beautiful calligraphy. She focused on designing art with holiday themes. The idea is that customers could buy one frame and a holiday art pack, then they could decorate all year long using one frame and themed artwork.
Before long, a few different holiday-themed art packs emerged. Unsurprisingly, the reception to her home décor solution was positive! Customers loved the idea of buying one frame and changing out the artwork at each holiday or whenever the mood hit them. And, they were ready to move away from tacky, mass-produced artwork into something unique and inspiring.
In recent years, Amie found success at some Christmastime craft shows in her area. She was thrilled to see that yes, people are interested.
"Our artwork and frames aren’t just decorations; they’re a canvas for moments, memories, and the beauty of thoughtful design."
Today
Amie had always wanted the product to reflect high quality. She located a commercial printer with access to a sturdy smooth-finish cardstock which was perfect for the prints. It also soon became apparent that the wooden frames needed to be higher quality to match the quality of the artwork and the quality of the paper. (The frame manufacturer -- Amie's husband -- was the first to mention this!) Within a few weeks, they had partnered with a skilled woodworker in the area who masterfully produced a set of frames in solid walnut, white oak, maple, mahogany, and alder.
